Michigan.com, Michigan's Largest Media Marketing Company, is the leader in delivering engaging news and information. We deliver an ENGAGED AUDIENCE using a variety of SOPHISTICATED TOOLS and resources, and provide our clients the INTEGRATED MARKETING EXPERTISE to help them achieve their goals. In this position, you will have the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of the media advertising process working closely with our territory and key accounts sales teams.



Advertising Sales Internship - Spring 2018 - Lansing, MI

The USA TODAY NETWORK is in search of talented college students looking for an enriching paid internship. Come join a global digital media company of more than 100 media properties across the country. As a Spring 2018 Internship Program participant, you will develop, integrate and apply skill sets and experiences in support of newsroom teams. The purpose of the internship experience is to provide opportunities where college (undergrad and grad) students can develop, grow and become the next generation of talent for the Network. Enterprise programming offers mentoring, networking and real-world experience in a fun, entrepreneurial atmosphere. As part of one of our news teams, you will work on meaningful and impactful projects, as well as enjoy peer-to-peer engagement while working on activities that promote professional development supplemental to the job.

REQUIREMENTS

A candidate for this position should be an excellent written and spoken communicator, have effective phone and clerical skills, efficient time management skills, be proficient with Word and Excel and possess the ability to do quality work under intense deadlines. This is a paid internship. Previous advertising internships or experience is helpful but not required. Candidates must be at least a junior status in order to be taken into consideration.
