The York Daily Record, a part of the USA Today NETWORK, seeks a digital journalist to cover hot topics and trending issues in central Pennsylvania. Social media drives this beat reporter as they monitor top platforms and channels. This reporter pounces on trending topics, bringing home the local, regional or statewide aspects of such stories. These stories are what the Facebook, Twitter and Reddit crowds are talking about. The ideal candidate will produce an entire package - story, photos, video, podcast, etc.- or tell the story on whichever platform fits.
