Suburban Trends Reporter

We are looking for a journalist who will cover the communities surrounding the Rochester area.

The ideal candidate will be able to produce high-impact journalism in a variety of ways including in-depth reports, videos, photos, daily stories, analysis of complex issues and creative use of social media. This person is also expected to engage in community outreach regarding topics of interest. This journalist will spend much of his or her time out in the communities finding the hidden gem stories, profiles and trends. Additionally, this person will be encouraged to write with tone and personality, so the ability to speak in front of groups and be a recognized brand is a plus.

The journalist will work with the content coaches and strategists to identify topics and will be expected to provide content for every platform, with a sharp focus on mobile.
