The Columbia Daily Tribune is looking for part-time Stackers to work in the Pressroom. Starting times varies depending on workday. Operating on a seven-day work week, we are seeking dependable candidates.
Primary responsibility is to attend to the stacker, tier, and inserting equipment to facilitate the process from print to mailroom.
The ability to follow and comprehend instructions, interpret safety rules and work under deadlines is essential along with strong attention to detail, reliability and quality oriented.
Candidate must possess a high school diploma or GED and the ability to stand/ or walk during shift, lift bundles of papers weighing up to 25 lbs. regularly. Physical requirements consist of frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and pushing or pulling; ability to push/pull bins and carts weighing up to 500 lbs.
Clean, climate-controlled environment and 401(K).
In response to Covid: We are following all CDC guidelines in order to keep our guests and employees safe by requiring and providing face masks on a limited basis, daily temperature checks, enforcing frequent usage of hand sanitizer and social distancing. You must wear a face mask and have a temperature check conducted on you as a mandated requirement in order to be permitted to enter the facility.
