Senior Analyst, Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the implementation and ongoing delivery of corporate retirement plans, including both 401(k) and pension plans as well as nonqualified executive retirement plans
  • Handles day to day administration of large 401(k) plans including knowledge of applicable IRS & DOL rules
  • Leads retirement-related initiatives and special projects
  • Perform and review 401(k) contribution calculations and reconciliations
  • Prepares and/or reviews government filings for 401(k) and pension plans
  • Provides proactive customer service support to internal and external customers
  • Responds directly to escalated service center requests and elevates complex requests as appropriate
  • Works with Senior Director, Benefits to establish plan procedures and benefit policies that improve benefit offerings and simplify plan administration
  • Serves as first line contact with vendors on plan administration and invoicing
  • Works directly with vendors and internal resources on quality control of eligibility files, internal websites and other benefits-related platforms
  • Draft, review and execute employee communication campaigns through a variety of mediums
  • Audit plan census and payroll data for accuracy then communicate results to applicable parties
  • Assists with updates and maintenance of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and knowledge library documents
  • Gathers benefits data for annual proxy reporting
  • Works effectively in a team environment and is willing to assist others as needed
  • Collaborates with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Builds open and honest relationships with peers and business clients

    Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4-6 years of experience in Human Resources, including strong background in benefits and employee communications.
  • Benefits-related certifications are a plus (ASPPA, SHRM, CEBS)
  • Mergers & Acquisition experience a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with and present to senior executives
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be a self-starter and comfortable in an energetic, collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
