The Livingston County Daily Press & Argus, PART OF THE USA TODAY NETWORK, seeks a creative, talented and driven reporter who can join a newsroom where change is the norm and the ability to juggle many tasks at once is a requirement for everyone. The Press & Argus newsroom is designed to support authoritative, enterprise journalism at the center of a vibrant social media experience. It is an operation in which journalists respond immediately to emergent news and distribute it to the appropriate platforms quickly. The successful candidate will be an experienced reporter and writer with a demonstrated track record interacting with readers on Twitter, Facebook or other social media. This reporter is a skilled interviewer who can produce quality content on both print and digital platforms and is acutely aware of audience interests and priorities. The ideal candidate is adept at using multimedia tools and has a keen eye for visual impact. The ideal candidate has at least 1-2 years' experience at other media outlets, but we will consider recent college graduates with a portfolio of published work.
