The Times Herald is currently seeking a part-time circulation assistant (operations coordinator). The position supports the distribution process of the daily and Sunday Times Herald home delivery papers, along with other newspapers and alternate delivery products. Responsible for ensuring quality delivery of products, addressing shortages and overages. Communicates closely with the District Manager, Transportation drivers and the contracted carrier force. Recruits and delivers down routes as necessary.
The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft word and Microsoft excel and have some working knowledge of circulation systems. A background in customer service is preferred as the position will be communicating with internal and external customers.

The position works 20-29 hours per week; hours vary and occur at night on weekends and holidays as needed. Must have a valid Michigan drivers license with a good driving record and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
