Ensures that product is received from and delivered
to the external and internal customers in an efficient, timely manner. Basic math skills and ability to accurately maintain records. Adheres to the company
Code of Ethics to ensure policies and procedures are maintained to create a positive work environment.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: % OF TIME
- Receives and delivers all newsprint material and consumables.
- Receives incoming Free Standing Inserts (FSI); entering data into SAM Tracks, load flagging, storage of products and verifying
weight of FSI to include multiple date piece weighting. Recieves and stores newsprint rolls using MTC.
- Receives and checking in of all products delivered to the Burnham production facility. Acceptance of all shipping service
packages; USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, DHL etc. of all receivable goods for departments within the Burnham production facility.
- Works in the Recycling Center
moving waste material for disposal or onto a truck for transport to another offsite facility.
This person must be able to work on a team in a Team/Union environment and assist the team members in all aspects of the Operations Production process.
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager
High School Diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: 1 – 3 years prior working experience in manufacturing operations and/or production environment is desired. Previous forklift and skid steer experience is preferred. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the job, including displaying courtesy and sensitivity in all contacts involved with both internal and external customers. Must be computer literate and be able to navigate through a variety of software programs.
Ability to lift 75 pounds, read and interpret instructions such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Ability to comprehend instructions and follow prescribed organizations policy and procedures. Ability to stand/ walk for an entire shift.
