We are seeking a Production/Packaging Inserter. This position prepares and distributes completed papers and insert bundles for delivery to carriers and prepares commercial jobs for our clients. In this job you will:•Feed inserts into hopper•Stack press run or insert run •Hand inserting or making repairs •Manifest papers •Driving / Delivering •Cleaning •Regular and reliable attendance is a necessary element of this job•Employees must ensure that their work is carried out safely and in accordance with all applicable company safety rules • Perform duties as needed to maintain deadlines and avoid delays in the operation.•Follow all work related instructions given by the supervisor. Deliver in house copies and reports. Assist supervisor in training of new hires when needed.•Perform final departments clean up able to operate compacter.•Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.•Cooperate with all departments to ensure a quality product for distribution to our customers. Treat members of the public and other employees respectfully. Physical Aspects of the Job:•Standing majority of the time - feeding hoppers & related equip. •Walking - Frontline and loading trucks.•Lifting - Lifting preprints from skids & bundles onto & off the conveyor.•Carrying - Carrying bundles to appropriate areas, waste.•Pushing up to 150 lbs. - Moving equipment, sweeping.•Pulling up to 150 lbs. - Moving equipment•Climbing - Clearing equipment jams.•Stooping - Clean up, repairs, unloading skids.•Kneeling - Picking up objects from floor.•Reaching - Reaching for products to load/unload skids.•Speaking - Communicate with co-workers•Hearing - Listen to co-workers/Supervisors•Seeing - Watching the operation, feeding hoppers, operating equipment and looking for safety infractions.
