Mailroom Inserter I - Part-Time Nights

Gannett Publishing Services, located at Springfield, MO is recruiting for a part-time Inserter. This is an entry level position performing post press related packaging tasks.

The Inserter is responsible for loading product into the inserting machine; stacking down product from press or inserting machine to build skids that can be machine inserted or shipped out; and basic material handling functions. The job environment is deadline-oriented work in a manufacturing environment. Must be available to work variable shifts, including Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

Requirements:

  • Good verbal communication skills required. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and proven ability to be a self-starter a plus. Must be able to push and pull carts loaded with newspapers weighing up to 1000 pounds with assistance and repetitively lift newspaper bundles weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Flexible schedule with approximately 5-19 hours per week.


Related Experience:

Prior production or related experience preferred.
