$13 PER HOUR STARTING PAY

Argus Leader Media/Gannett Publishing Services has immediate openings for part-time positions in our packaging department.

The primary role of the Newspaper Packaging Worker (Inserter-I) is to put inserts into the newspaper - working as part of a crew on the inserting machine - ensuring the papers are prepared for delivery in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities:

  • Feeding inserts into the inserting machine
  • Work as part of the crew operating the inserting machine.
  • Handling papers and stacking bundles.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements/skills:
  • Must be dependable and arrive to work on-time
  • Must be able to lift 25 - 35 lbs.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be able to work days, evenings, overnight and weekends.
