To work at ReachLocal as an Inside Sales Consultant is to be a part of something big! The ISC is a customer facing, inside based role that acquires, manages, and retains clients. Working with the Account Manager, the ISC will be responsible for managing the client lifecycle through acquiring new clients, collaborating and working together with their Account Managers to onboard, provide support, and retain clients.

As an Inside Sales Consultant, you'll have an opportunity to sell a broad set of solutions from our extensive market-leading portfolio, such as: Search Engine Marketing (PPC), Display Advertising (Banner Advertising), Web Presence Optimization, including services for Organic Search, Social Media Marketing and Reputation Management, and wide range of business services, including Online Chat, Video Production, and Analytics.

Job Skills & Responsibilities:  

  • Aggressively pursue and close new business and revenue streams
  • Skillfully articulate and present our products to Small and Medium sized business owners

  • Create and conduct customer presentations, proposals and demonstration
  • Effectively coordinate all aspects of the sale from start to finish
  • Successfully work with the Account Manager to manage the client relationship and set proper expectations with a warm hand off
  • Attend regularly scheduled office meetings and developmental activities
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) effectively and efficiently recording all sales activity

  • Effective and consistent client interaction/communication to ensure a best in class ReachLocal experience for their clients
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts to clients  
  • Ensure advertising campaigns correlate with advertiser's other forms of marketing to maximize client campaign ROI

Key Skills:

  • Possess strong knowledge of products and trends in the digital advertising/media space
  • Ability to recognize, communicate, and close selling opportunities
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, such as, and other database systems


  • 5+ years working experience in high acquisition, consultative, B2B sales role
  • Sales‐minded DNA, with strength and comfort level in retaining and up‐selling current business  
  • Exceptional phone and verbal communications skills with the ability to build relationships at decision-making levels

  • Proven track record of sales success and progression
  • Passion for digital advertising and tech savvy
