Inserter / part-time
Gannett Publishing Services
Binghamton, NY

Gannett Publishing Services, located in Johnson City is recruiting for a part-time Inserter. This is an entry level position performing
post press related packaging tasks.

  • Perform general material handling duties including working on post-press equipment.
  • Perform general housekeeping and safety maintenance including positioning pallets, post office equipment and other equipment as needed.

Requirements:

Good verbal communication skills required.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and proven ability to be a self-starter a plus . Must be able to push and pull carts loaded with newspapers weighing up to 1000 pounds with assistance and repetitively lift newspaper bundles weighing up to 35 pounds.

Education:

GED/High School diploma

Related Experience:

Prior
production or related experience preferred.
