Insert Machine Operator

The Insert Machine Operator is assigned to learn and perform the following tasks that may include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting up and Operating Insert machines according to standard procedures.
  • Supervises an inserting crew. Maintains high quality and throughput.
  • Ability to stand up to 12 hours per day.
  • Responsible and Dependable.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.
  • Listens and takes direction well.
  • Works well with others.

Requirements:

Must be flexible with work schedule. Previous Supervisory experience. Experienced SLS 2000 or 630 Operator preferred.

Mailroom experience preferred. Proven track record of reliability. Computer literate. Must be mechanically inclined.

Must be able to operate Material Handling equipment or be trained to do so.

Education:

High School Graduate or equivalent.

Additional Information:

Hours fall between 7am and 7pm 5-days a week dictated by the Insert schedule.

Normal work week is Tuesday – Saturday OFF most Sundays and Mondays.

Average work week is ~40 hours. Overtime required certain times of the year.

3-6 months on the job training.
