Under the direction of the Operations Manager—Equipment Maintenance Manager manages a staffof Electricians, Machinists and Maintenance Technicians. The department is responsible for the repairand maintenance of the production equipment in both press and packagingdepartments, dock, cart loaders and all area related electrical/ Mechanicalfunctions in production.

The Equipment Maintenance Manager is responsible for safety/ OSHA/ EPA/ Local/ State/ Fed reporting functions and is a safety champion within production. The Equipment Maintenance Manager will be responsible for production equipment maintenance and repair including, but not limited to staff scheduling; annual budgeting, maintaining expense budgets, providing flashes as required, inventory/purchasing of department supplies, equipment maintenance and repair, staff training and development, performance reviews, capital project development and management, and OSHA & EPA compliance, as well as managing large and small scale projects related to production.

The Equipment Maintenance Manager will promote good internal customer service and urgency as this department and role has to work with various department employees as it relates to equipment, troubleshooting, safety and repairs.
