Digital Producer

TCPalm.com and FloridaToday.com in sunny Florida are looking for a Digital Producer who will bring fresh content, multimedia/multi-platform ideas and technical know-how to our newsrooms while executing the company's strategic content plan and helping us grow audience. The Digital Producer will contribute to and will help package news content across our mobile, web, social and video platforms. This role will report to an editor on the digital team.

Ideal candidates will be news-oriented, energetic, curious and known troubleshooters. They will excel at multi-tasking. The schedule for this producer may involve nights, and a weekend shift.

Day to day, you'll be working with the newsroom to create digital content, watching real-time stats to keep our homepages fresh, informative and interesting, as well as interacting with readers on social media. We're looking for someone with a BS/BA in a related discipline or commensurate experience. You should have worked with a CMS before, have some basic HTML knowledge, video and photo editing abilities and be self-driven.
