The Gannett Design Studio, part of the USA TODAY Network, is hiring for a part-time Design Assistant in sunny Phoenix, AZ.

This is a part-time job which will focus on licensing requests we receive for our content. Requests are received from an organization via email and rights on the requested content must be researched to determine if we own the license and can allow content use. These requests may be for content that is decades old so a good understanding of our archives and strong search skills are important.

We can not predict the volume nor complexity of the requests. Some days may have no requests, other days we may have several. This position will require someone to check an email account twice a day -- morning and mid-afternoon. The hours needed beyond that will be driven by the number and nature of the requests received.

Gannett Co., Inc. is a proud equal opportunity employer. We are a drug free, EEO employer committed to a diverse workforce. We will consider all qualified candidates regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, marital status, personal appearance, sexual orientation, gender identity, family responsibilities, disability, education, political affiliation, or veteran status.
