The Commercial Appeal in Memphis, part of Gannett Co., Inc. and the USA TODAY NETWORK, is searching for a breaking news reporter.

This is a breaking news reporter in Memphis who works on the city-reporting team covering police, the sheriff's department, courts and breaking news.

This reporter will work with one other breaking news reporter to cover the Shelby County community. The job will involve working some nights and weekend days as part of a regular work schedule.

This reporter must also possess strong digital skills, be proficient on social media and have the ability to produce video.
