Accounting - Junior Analyst

The Junior Circulation Analyst is responsible for providing relevant, accurate and timely financial analysis in support of our business units.The Junior Circulation Analyst services the Regional Circulation AR Manager and business units as needed. In all phases of the hub's evolution, the Junior Circulation Analyst provides direct support to the hub and business units that includes, but is not limited to, weekly, quarterly and annual forecasting, annual budgeting, ad hoc analysis, and revenue trending. The Junior Circulation Analyst is proficient in circulation revenue analysis or financial performance analysis.The Junior Circulation Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely analytical reports and strong customer service both for the hub and the business unit.

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks

Develops relationships and provides support to the Regional Circulation AR Manager, Regional Finance Directors, Finance Hub Vice President and staff at business units.

Supports the circulation department in day end and billing report review

Maintains PIA and carrier billing rate and adjustment codes

Plans, organizes, tracks, and completes circulation projects

Assists with the development and implementation of standardized analytical tools and reporting as well as ad hoc reporting as needed.

Monitors audit compliance and actively participates during internal audits.

Develops and maintains a relationship with shared service centers relating to circulation items such as account reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, billing and cash receipts, credit and collections.

Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.

Completes other duties as assigned.
