Accounting - Cashier

Handle customer service requests from both external paying customers as well as Gannett business unit queries.

Prepare daily deposits.

Research and resolve unapplied payments, NSF checks and credit card declines.

Process adjustments for refunds or payment transfers.

Perform other duties as required, including special projects.

This position will be working with confidential

customer and company banking information. Confidential information may not be shared with any NSSC Remainco employee with the exception of SVP, Director and Operations staff.

Skills/Abilities:

This individual will possess good communication and problem solving skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast pace environment. Working

knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. Professional and courteous customer service skills

Education/Training:

A high school degree/GED is required.2+ years data entry experience preferred. Cash application preferred. Shared service experience desired.
