The Commerce platform processes over $1 billion in payments per year in 180 countries. We are looking for an awesome product manager to help build the next gen Billing & Payments platform supporting multi-currencies and alternate payment methods that delivers trusted, seamless, cost-optimized payment experience to all our customers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the Billing & Payment roadmaps and lead the agile teams
  • Work with UX Designers to ensure delivery of optimal & frictionless user experiences
  • Prepare and facilitate implementation of go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful launch execution and adoption
  • Manage products through their life cycle—introduction, growth, maturity and ending stages
  • Be responsible for the outcome. Track KPI’s and use them to prioritize and drive decision-making about the future of the product
  • Understand the latest trends in the payments world globally and champion the changes that would have maximum impact at Upwork.

What it takes to catch our eye:

  • Expert knowledge of Payment systems with previous marketplace experience with billing/payments/financial products
  • Excellent product management skills with consistent track record in understanding customer needs, working across a variety of functional teams, developing solutions, and launching products that impact growth
  • Excellent written and oral communication, and the adeptness to influence and communicate effectively.
