We are looking for a savvy Data Engineer to join our growing team of analytics experts. The hire will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc
  • Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
  • Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems

ENGLISH PROFICIENT ASSESSMENT WILL BE REQUIRED AFTER APPLICATION


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Quantitative or related field
  • 1 + years of business analytics and data base management
  • 1+ year of experience in Big Data Tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive)
  • 1+ years of experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience working with SAS
  • Available to work (40 hours/week) Monday- Friday. Flexible to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:00am to 4:00pm AST) It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
  • English Proficiency


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in building ETL Pipelines on Spark using PySpark or Spark SQL
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Oozie, Airflow etc.
  • Experience in Java/Scala
