Clinical Psychologist Anchorage, Alaska or Telecommute Within Alaska
The successful candidate will be a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Alaska with experience serving children, adolescents, severely mentally ill adults and persons with substance use disorders, and who is capable of reviewing service authorization requests, including those for psychological testing.
The Clinical Psychologist will support the mission of Optum Alaska in building increasing cost-effective, evidence-based behavioral health care for Medicaid recipients. Alongside the Chief Medical Officer and the Director of Clinical Operations, the Clinical Psychologist will function as a subject matter expert (SME) on Level of Care (LOC) guidelines, utilization management protocols, as well as care coordination and advocacy. The Clinical Psychologist will also be responsible for supporting the clinical integrity of the program.
