As Associate Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for all retention and product marketing efforts for our Life Science portfolio targeting such industries as biopharma, biotech, med device/tech, and distribtors. This includes: Product / research delivery to existing members, content creation, marketing channel management (Email, Social, Conferences, 3rd party partners, etc.), strategy and goal setting, metric tracking, budget, and others. In this role, we are seeking a leader responsible for developing strategy, supporting stakeholders (Product, Sales, Marketing and Executive Leadership), and tracking / reporting progress.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning
    • In close collaboration with stakeholders from across the firm, create a go-to-market messaging, core bill of marketing materials, and launch/relaunch integrated marketing plans
    • Create calendar for the full cycle of marketing activities
    • Prioritizes project queue to maximize impact on KPIs, such as impressions, marketing qualified leads, and revenue
    • Identifies opportunities to inflect sales by leveraging content and/or collateral
    • Develops creative solutions to the challenges facing sales teams
    • Provides informed recommendations on product's overall marketing strategy through creation and analysis of analytic reports
  • Content Creation
    • Writes, designs, and produces clear and compelling content for sales enablement and demand generation, including reference webinars, visit decks, sales scripts, email scripting, competitive positioning pieces, conference presentations, brochures, executive summaries, website content, furthering tools, urgency documents, and other collateral
    • Organize and build a core bill of materials, including a library of decks, scripts, and presentations available to teams
    • Meet with key stakeholders to better understand collateral needs
    • Analyze what types of content are leveraged most frequently and are most effective to determine where efforts should be invested in creating new content that aligns with our overall content strategy
    • Interprets complex issues and presents them effectively; adapts style, tone, and word choice to various media
    • Achieves high standards of productivity and timeliness
  • Campaign Management
    • Creates content strategy aimed at generating product awareness, engagement, and demand
    • Appropriately matches the medium to the message, selecting the best content for each channel
    • Tracks and measures the success of efforts and adjusts campaigns as necessary
    • Partners with commercial teams to bridge the gap between marketing qualified and sales qualified leads
    • Has experience with multiple B2B channels and has managed multi-channel, integrated, B2B marketing campaigns
  • Product Expertise
    • Demonstrates content mastery around customer segments, markets and competitors
    • Monitors industry trends and institution-specific issues to better inform the marketing and sales approach
    • Leverages competitive intel to better understand competitive landscape within terrain
    • Invests time interviewing clients, commercial leaders, and subject matter experts to better understand buyer personas
    • Maintain an understanding of sales pipeline, conversion metrics, and wins/losses
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Experience presenting and working closely with Senior Leaders/Executives
    • Comfortable using data to demonstrate marketing value, influence strategic and tactical plans, and gain buy-in from stakeholders
    • Working cross functionally with a variety of teams across the business

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, integrated marketing, digital marketing, marketing management, marketing communications, business development, market development, product management and/or related roles
  • Able to clearly and precisely express context ideas in written and graphical form
  • Skilled at adapting language, format, and style for various media and audiencesa
  • Able to take ownership and drive projects from beginning to end, working with multiple groups on multiple projects, concurrently
  • Demonstrated experience translating business and sales goals into actionable marketing plans with a varied mix of programs and tools tailored to meeting those objectives
  • Experience executing multichannel campaigns in the B2B space, which should include experience with typical marketing channels (email, social, paid ads, managing vendors/partners, retargeting, conferences, and others) and content marketing strategies.
  • Ability to use data, ROI analysis, and performance KPIs to optimize and/or pivot marketing programs
  • Experience analyzing marketing performance/contribution through sales funnel mechanics and associated metrics
  • Experience managing a budget
  • B2B Health care marketing experience highly preferred, but not required for the right candidates

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience marketing to pharma, biopharma, biotech, medical device, medical tech, and medical suppliers/distributors.
  • Experience tying marketing performance to sales funnel mechanics, revenue, and associated metrics
  • Eye for ROI and marketing spend metrics to streamline programs (e.g. CAC-associated metrics)
  • Experience working in a highly-matrixed organization
  • Experience with Eloqua or other marketing automation system
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting
  • Experience with HTML and Sharepoint
  • Experience with content management systems, such as Sitecore
  • Experience with digital analytic platforms, such as Webtrends, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics
  • Expertise with Microsoft products, including Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience in more than one marketing function, including product marketing, integrated marketing, digital marketing, marketing management, marketing communications, business development, market development, product management or related roles

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700.
