Role Title: Pricing Associate
Location: Englewood Cliffs,NJ (Currently Work From Home)
The Pricing Associate role is an integral key player in the NA Food solutions team. It ensures we invest in Growing the Business whilst Improving Customer and Employee Satisfaction. The person will play a key role in NA team by driving accurate pricing to ensure customer operations are running smoothly and will intervene when needed to prevent or solve pricing related issues in collaboration with the business excellence team as well as continuously looking for ways to improve the process. They will act as the First Point of Contact for all pricing related questions whether they are coming from internal stakeholders, partners (IBM, HUB) or from internal/external auditors.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to create and manage a comprehensive price strategy across channel Create complete strategies to implement and monitor the pricing strategy set for Unilever Foodsolutions NA Responsible to manage coordination between multi-stakeholders to deliver pricing strategy
First Point of Contact for Pricing:
- Perform price checks (exception based) to ensure that prices are consistent
- Propose improvements to the process
- Assist in Customer Development meetings where needed
Deal Track:
- Evaluate customer performance vs the contractually agreed counterparts
- Propose corrective action based on above analysis
- Formulate advice as input for annual negotiation process
Audit / SOX:
- Provide the required input during financial & SOX audits
- Take ownership of remarks formulated during audits and propose corrective action
- Price Lists
- Guide the annual price increase process
- Perform regular sense checking
- Report to Pricing Lead BNX

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years' experience in CPG or Retail industry, including roles in sales or customer development
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in owning/meeting commercial targets
- Ability to forecast sales and manage trade investment and return on investment
- Must have proven success building customer relationships and effectively communicating with a wide variety of leaders
- Strong track record of collaborating and influencing a wide variety of stakeholders, internal and external.
- Must be a strategic thinker that can balance data and insights with trends and big picture thinking.
- Must demonstrate ability to leverage future trends and market insights and think creatively when building business plans and influencing the customer
