Background and Purpose of the Job

This position will have 1 direct report and will be responsible for working closely with the leadership team to ensure standardization of process/ optimization of reporting. Individual will have direct influence on future processes and reporting for all aspects of planning.

This position is a full-time assignment that supports: 1) the inventory/waste reduction efforts across the NA MCO 2) Leads inventory forecasting and key SC planning metrics for the Opex Insights and Analytics Team and 3) Will support the standardization of current processes/reporting to a new golden standard. This role is responsible for providing insights through engagement with the category teams, communicating progress, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Reduction in complexity/inventory will allow the organization to reinject cash into the business and pursue and support further growth for the organization. Effective leadership in this position will require educating others on the importance of effective inventory management, leveraging capabilities and best practices, translating actions into impact.

Who You Are and What Will You Do

You're a dot connector: You will engage and work with the Demand and Supply Planners on-going to ensure strategic alignment towards achieving targets.

You're a story teller: You will lead and manage the Inventory pillar across the NA MCO. This will require effective and proactive project management, tool development, strategic influencing, and leadership skills engaging key stakeholders within the framework to ensure visibility and drive action. You will provide the story behind the results on a monthly basis and present the results to senior leaders.

You love to win, and have fun doing it: You will deliver against key milestones and KPI's including SC Planning targets for Service, Inventory, and Business Waste within the Refreshments category by helping the team to find the right mix and timing on production decisions and having foresight as to what is coming down the pike.

You're a changemaker: You will question the status quo and old ways of working by challenging the team to find ways to sustainably reduce inventory and waste. You will being ideas to team meetings that drive efficiencies in run strategy, reduction in complexity, and cost savings opportunities.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Bachelor Degree in in Engineering, Logistics, Operations Planning, Supply Chain or related fields with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience with SAP APO & ECC a plus. APICS a plus. Position requires excellent communication skills and team commitment and proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Microsoft project. Good quantification and analytical skills in a dynamic environment requiring the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Ability to problem solve, influence, and lead others. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
