Background & Purpose of the Job
Whole Foods Market is the premier Natural retailer in the United States. They are leaders in Sustainability, Ingredient Standards, and driving industry-led change in the world.
The primary purpose of the Customer Business Manager (CBM) position is to develop and nurture sustained business relationships with Whole Foods Market. Specific category responsibility will focus on Home Care and the Seventh Generation brand.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining a Joint Business Plan, negotiating Category and Brand priorities, and driving profitable sales volume. The CBM will also have responsibility for providing business insights, Financial and Demand forecasting, negotiating product distribution, and developing near- and long-term strategies for mutual growth and partnership. A strong history of working with Unilever cross functional partners is critical for this role.

What You will Need to Succeed
- Undergraduate degree is required
- 3 + years' Customer Business Manager experience required; Account Management/Customer management experience within CPG a must.
- Must be able to effectively relate with multiple levels of management, both internally and externally
- Must be a strategic thinker that can work effectively, and in a highly collaborative manner
- Working knowledge of omni-channel/eCommerce capabilities is a plus
- Trade Marketing and Category Management experience is a plus
- Experience working with a distributor network is a plus
Non-Austin based candidates will be considered as well, depending on qualifications.
