Associate Process Engineer, Skincare (Digital)

> Background & Purpose of the Job

This position is in the Global Skin Care category based in Trumbull. It is responsible for supporting the global skin care category design program. He or she must be able to lead complex global projects and support multiple projects at a time. They also must be able to lead capability build projects, such as in-silico predictive modelling, concentrates, and complex technologies. Must be able to apply data analysis (e.g. PAT) and modelling (e.g. CFD) to provide key processing insights.

Who You Are & What You'll Do

This position reports into the Senior Process Manager. The core responsibility is to manage the R&D process development responsibilities for the category innovation plan and supporting new capabilities. Work with category cluster process teams, global factory, and 3P teams to roll out new innovations. Feed into project network for process activities. Provide input to GCLT documents for any relevant process activities.

Support a change agenda in digital processing, improving the use and understanding of processing & material data. Provide validation support to key computational fluid dynamic and Process Analytics programs - matching simulation to real time results. Execute Design of Experiment-based pilot plant trials developed using Statistical Design software and interpreting key variables. Providing recommendations for Critical Control Points & design rules based on statistical analysis. Developing scale-up rules & algorithms to improve technology deployment into factories.

What You'll Need To Succeed

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or Math/Statistics

0-1 years experience in process & R&D (Skin Care category preferred)

Self-starter with ability to think on your feet and flexibility to adapt to different scenarios
