Background & Purpose of the Job

As an Omni Channel Shopper Marketing Manager for the Walmart Consumables team, you will work to extend brand strategy and program platforms with Walmart through the development of Shopper Marketing (SM) programs. These programs will drive profitable volume & equity among the Unilever brand portfolio. You will analyze and measure all SM programs by understanding business results, projected investments and industry insights. Your ability to identify business building opportunities at Walmart will help set the strategy to drive efficient and effective program activation.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations of this Role

  • Keen focus on the development and execution of world-class integrated and collaborative SM plans
  • Activations should deliver on the brand Jobs-to-be-Done/identified KPI's as well as the customer's unique positioning to fit the objectives of the retailer.
  • Building brand equity and driving demand at retail through insights led SM activation
  • Deep understanding of customer and brand objectives
  • Development of creative briefs and successful collaboration with agency to flawlessly execute for all program activations
  • Acting as liaison between sales team delivering strategic category and cross-category conversion while delivering profitable growth for both Unilever and the retailer

What You'll Need To Succeed
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, MBA a plus
  • 3-5 years' experience in development of brand business objectives and marketing strategies
  • Outstanding project management (PM) skill with ability to manage and lead multiple projects and resources simultaneously and with precision
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry, retail channels and account specific marketing
  • Strong verbal and written communication to wide breadth of audiences both internal and external
  • Understanding of promotional tactics, process flow, execution and fulfillment processes
  • Experience in digital marketing and understanding of consumer behavior
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities
  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills
  • Flexibility and ability to thrive on change and fast-paced environment
  • Budget management experience
  • Desire to achieve mutual objectives as one collective team
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Retail Link a plus
