Associate Documentation Specialist - Seventh Generation

Burlington, VT

OVERVIEW

The Associate Documentation Specialist will support the Research and Development organization by managing the specification release process to manufacturing facilities. Focus for this position will be on maintaining accurate product development data in Product Lifecycle Management database and associated systems for new and renovated specifications that represent Seventh Generation products.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

  • Develop, optimize, maintain and distribute product specifications housed within R&D and financial systems.
  • Cross functional communication to coordinate and optimize information and documentation flow to meet specification release deadlines.
  • Review and publish specifications data for relevancy and completeness.
  • Continuous data cleansing in associated systems for specification data and artifacts.
  • Serve as one point of contact for specification needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain and associated business team members.
  • Identify specification inconsistencies and drive specification accuracy.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in Product Lifecycle Management tools, SAP, SharePoint, or AWS, Product Vision or database tools preferred.
  • Strong understanding of consumer industry documentation control concepts and practices.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Familiarity with consumer packaging and quality control methods.
  • Desire to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes.
  • Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development.
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passion for working in a values-based company.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Office environment. Long periods of time working at a computer.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.
