Software Test Engineer

Job Duties: Works to automate software product performance tests for stability, scalability and reliability. Tests and evaluates the product software to uncover if defects are present. Participates in the constant improvement of Performance Test Automation practices. Performs test execution and results analysis. Debugs, troubleshoots and works with team members to find and fix software defects. Creates reports that describe detected defects and possible causes. Communicates with the Product Analyst in creating acceptance tests as part of the requirements, and executes those tests with the necessary automation tools. Provides feedback on how to improve product solutions, tools and other technical software features.
Job Requirements: Must have at least a bachelor's degree (or foreign earned equivalent degree) in a computer or engineering field + min 60 months' work experience in enterprise level software testing including building software test automation, test strategy, debugging, writing software test automation, building test plans, test scenarios and executing tests. Testing required. Virtual employment is available.
