Customer Support Associate - Payment Services

Within the Payment Services department, the Customer Support Associate - Payment Services will be assisting in the efforts of our PS Customer Support team in the on-going support of an identified customer base. This team of professionals provide in-depth analysis and timely resolutions regarding payroll tax for our clients.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Through employing exception quality service and effective communications with our customers and internal business partners
  • Provide the day to day support for an identified group of Ultimate Software customers
  • Research and respond to client inquiries via Salesforce through resolution
  • Ensure customer profile data is properly maintained
  • Works with the appropriate team members to address and facilitate timely resolution to tax related issues
  • Provide support to address reconciliation discrepancies in preparation of quarter-end and year-end filings
  • Maintain the Ultimate Software support methodology and best practices
  • Builds and maintains strong peer relationships within the team and across the organization
Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly motivated and team oriented
  • A pioneering attitude for trouble-shooting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, and Excel
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • United States multi-state and local payroll tax filing experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ultimate Software product knowledge preferred
Education/Certification/License:

  • AA in Business, Accounting, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience will be considered
Travel Requirement:up to 10%
