About the Role

Restaurant Partners are the heart of Uber Eats-enabling us to deliver an unbeatable selection to customers while fueling our platform's rapid growth. As the Sr. Commercial Lead for SMB Account Management in Germany, you'll act as a regional business owner, driving strategic growth, customer success, and operational excellence for our largest restaurant segment.

In this Berlin-based leadership role, you will lead a team of Account Managers and own the growth, satisfaction, and retention of SMB Restaurant Partners across your region. Your work will have a measurable impact on partner success, customer delight, and Uber Eats' market expansion.

What You'll Do

  • Lead & Develop Talent: Build and inspire a high-performing team of Account Managers, focusing on hiring, coaching, and retaining top talent to drive partner success.
  • Accelerate Growth: Shape and execute the SMB strategy in your region-leveraging data, tools, and cross-functional support to drive restaurant partner growth, product adoption, and revenue uplift.
  • Enhance Customer Experience: Ensure restaurant partners deliver exceptional service to end customers, through operational excellence and effective adoption of Uber's tools and best practices.
  • Drive Commercial Performance: Set clear targets and use data-driven insights to boost sales, increase partner engagement, and improve retention metrics.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Cultivate strong partnerships with SMB restaurant stakeholders-becoming a trusted advisor focused on mutual value creation.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product to ensure alignment and impact across the customer lifecycle.
  • Act as a Culture Carrier: Champion Uber's values, promote an inclusive team culture, and lead with integrity.

What You Will Need

  • Fluency in German and English and based in or willing to relocate to Berlin.
  • Proven Leadership: Extensive experience managing and developing high-performing, target-driven commercial or account management teams.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: A strong background in client-facing roles, with experience navigating executive-level partnerships.
  • Strategic & Operational Agility: A track record of designing scalable solutions and managing complex projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn insights into action and communicate strategy to senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated success in account management, business development, or P&L ownership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Communication & Influence: World-class interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, inspire, and align cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Experience in tech, food delivery, or marketplace businesses.
