Job Description

Uber ATG is seeking a Security Engineering Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh. An engineering manager primarily has impact through organizing the work of others. Working at the intersection of technology and people, you will balance long-term direction, health of the team, and individual careers of team members to ensure success in all these dimensions. This role requires strong execution while being very technical - you will set the direction for the team to grow and to execute and may even jump in and write code. In addition to guiding a team of engineers and their roadmap, you will build and grow the team.

What you'll do:

  • You'll be responsible for leading the team that ensures the security of the software on the autonomous vehicle and the cloud services it interacts with.
  • You'll provide security reviews of the vehicle.
  • You'll define security challenges from a hardware perspective.
  • You'll be responsible for penetration testing for all attack surfaces.
