Job Description

UberEATS is looking for someone passionate about sales to fuel the growth of our platform in Houston, Texas. This role takes creative problem solving, detail orientation, interpersonal ability to manage partnerships, and the motivation to dig in and help grow a startup.

Please note this is a contract position with possibility for longer term extension.

What you'll do

Be a critical part of developing UberEATS restaurant partnershipsIdentify and source contact info for high-quality local restaurantsEmail and cold call potential restaurant partnersPitch, sign and onboard restaurants to the UberEATS platformA minimum of 25 hours per week

What you'll need

A passion for Uber, growing the UberEATS brand, and the Houston food sceneInitiative, you find creative solutions and follow through with themInterpersonal skills, you love talking to people and getting them excitedSales, account management, business development, or customer service experienceExperience guiding people through a process at scale and are excellent at follow-through (you have no problem getting on the phone and getting a sale through)An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or are currently working towards oneExperience with Microsoft ExcelExperience or interest in sales pipeline tools and/or customer account management systems (i.e., Salesforce)Experience in sales and have excellent interpersonal communication skillsAdaptability, you can manage your pipeline like no one's businessAn organized mindset, you are fast, resourceful, have a go-getter attitude, and are creative about how to get a project or task done
