What You'll Do / What You'll Need / Bonus Points / About the Team

What You'll Do

  • Analytics - Business decisions: Leverage data and your problem solving skills to generate business insights and help on critical decisions
  • Campaigns: Propose, prioritize, idealize and lead campaigns through multiple channels and in cooperation with multiple areas, with focus on Cash and new payment methods
  • Product improvement & launch:
  • Diligently search for bugs or new features which could improve user experience with cash and alternative payment methods
  • Coordinate cash and payments products tests, launches and marketing in Brazil
  • Project management:
  • Coordinate planning and execution of initiatives across Brazil with POCs from all regions and multiple international stakeholders;
  • Execute complex project modules in parallel
  • Processes - Development & Optimization:
  • Improvement - Continuously search for improvements in the payment flow (cash & alternative payment methods)
  • Development - Take big picture ideas to measure and improve payments experience and and break them into actionable and scalable tasks
  • Documentation - Document and present processes
  • Stakeholder management: Manage relationship with core Money related areas at Uber, including multiple Product teams, Business Development, Regional Operations and Marketing teams from other regions, Support, Functional teams (Policy, Communications, Legal and Transactions) and Territory Teams;

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of Strategy Consulting, Banking, BI or similar background in a large businesses or a Tech company; No specific requirement for Bachelor's degree, but Business, Economics and Engineering are preferable;
  • Experience with strategy, planning and execution of projects involving payment methods is desirable;
  • Language - Excellent spoken and written English, mandatory Portuguese proficiency;
  • Data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking and experimentation;
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Focus on execution, delivering impactful, high quality and timely projects;
  • Ability to independently manage stakeholders from different areas, including Legal, Policy, Communications, Marketing and Support;
  • Project Management skills to ensure compliance from different areas in a given process or project and high quality deliverables;
  • Attention to details, documentation and confidentiality;
  • SQL knowledge is desirable
