Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead our Airports Operations. This role main focus is to enhance our riders experience in airports, grow our operation, and build an efficient and balanced marketplace. This role will work closely with city teams to plan and execute strategies, and product teams to launch and manage new product deployments.

The ideal candidate for this role should have strong analytical skills, excellent time-management and organizational habits, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information to stakeholders across all levels of the business.

What you'll do

  • Develop & Optimize Processes - Scale new and existing city processes to allow the business to efficiently operate and realize growth across the region; analyze the business to track and improve metrics
  • Analytics - Analysis of driver, rider and marketplace dynamics to ensure a high-quality experiences on all our region airports
  • Strategy - Choose which projects to prioritize, and set a timeline to reach goals quickly
  • Product Improvement - Proactively search for new features which could improve a seamless airports experience, for both, riders and drivers
  • Be fast, resourceful, and take initiative. Take ownership of airports growth and do everything you can to support and enhance the quality of our services.

What you'll need

  • Data-driven decision making ability and sound business judgment through deep analytical thinking
  • Quantitative Bachelor's degree (engineering, mathematics, finance, economics, physics, etc.)
  • 3 years of high performing work experience in startup, strategy, operations, analytics, business development, or a variety of other specialty roles with demonstrated ability in quantitative fields.
  • Experience creating and optimizing processes
  • Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment while maintaining flexibility and a collaborative attitude
  • A willingness to be "on the ground" working responsively with our driver and restaurant partners
  • Experience creating and optimizing processes
  • Thorough understanding of a variety of business models (we're still proving ours)
  • SQL knowledge a plus, but not required (you will end learning it)

  • Consulting, accounting or banking background with numbers/Excel-driven decision instincts
  • Customer lifecycle analysis background with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Technology enthusiast with product development and management experience
  • An engineering background with dreams of applying similar process to people processes
