Operations and Marketing Manager

Operations and Marketing Manager is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on your city through the growth and optimization of the driver and rider population on Uber’s platform throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to engagement and resurrection of dormant users. Accomplish this by implementing communication campaigns, operation processes, by launching new products and technology solutions and by making data driven decisions..

The right person for this role possesses a passion for improving processes to achieve aggressive supply and demand growth goals. Also, the right person is curious of the complex challenges to improve rider and driver marketing effectiveness, ROI, optimization strategies, rider behavior, channel efficiency, and communications.


  • Analytics. Utilize driver and rider data to understand their behavior and areas for opportunity in our communications, sign-up, incentive programs and conversion.
  • Develop & Optimize Processes. Take big picture ideas and break them into actionable steps with aggressive timelines for completion.
  • Partner Experience. Identify & solve problem areas for drivers, and negotiate with businesses for partner rewards being customer obsessed.
  • Implement and analyze Tests/ Experiments to provide in-depth insights to the city team.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or similar field.
  • 3-6 years of Strategy Consulting, Accounting, or Banking background with previous experience using data to drive business decisions.
  • Excellent excel skills, SQL skills preferred.
  • Experience developing campaigns or working with agencies agencies
  • Demonstrated leadership of leading initiatives and projects at your organization. Startup (all-hands-on-deck) approach
  • Creative mindset to tackle problems with different ‘non-conventional’ approaches.
  • Have a strong business sense/ insights and the ability to create and maintain good relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Know how to “communicate” with our drivers and riders. From incentives to events, from engagement campaigns to new features in the app.
