Merchant Operations Manager, Uber Eats, Belgium

What You'll Do: Driving Merchant Success

You will be the engine ensuring our restaurant partners thrive on Uber Eats by driving quality, reliability, and efficiency. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Operational Strategy & Design: Define and implement strategies to improve merchant experience, compliance, and performance. Develop scalable tools to optimize onboarding, menu quality, and fulfillment.
  • Process Optimization & Innovation: Identify operational inefficiencies and design data-driven solutions. Lead pilots and experiments, then rapidly scale successful initiatives across Belgium.
  • Performance Management: Build and own key operational metrics and dashboards. Conduct structured analysis to diagnose pain points and create actionable improvement plans.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the operational bridge between local, regional, and global product teams. Champion local market needs and influence global priorities with data-backed recommendations.
  • Executional Excellence: Deliver projects end-to-end, from framing to post-launch tracking, with a focus on quality and impact. Manage complex stakeholders across multiple internal teams.

We require an experienced, data-driven operator with a proven record of execution and influence.

  • Experience & Execution
  • 5+ years in Operations, Consulting, Strategy, or a fast-paced Startup.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience thriving in dynamic, rapidly changing environments (hustle culture).
  • Preferred: Prior experience in logistics, e-commerce, or food delivery.
  • Analytical & Technical Skills
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset; ability to translate data into action.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Preferred: Experience with SQL is strongly preferred.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
  • Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally and influence without formal authority.
  • Excellent communication and sophisticated stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred: Experience launching operational products with technical teams.
  • Language Requirements
  • Fluency in English and professional proficiency in either French or Dutch is required.
  • Preferred: Fluency in both French and Dutch, in addition to English.
