Join Uber's North American CRM team and help shape how we connect with customers across our marketplace. As a Marketing Technology Associate, you will play a pivotal role in building and deploying communications to millions of Uber users-including Drivers, Riders, Couriers, Eaters, and Restaurants-via our owned digital channels.

You'll collaborate with marketers, product managers, engineers, and operations teams to ensure each message reaches the right audience with the right content at the right time. You'll also help evolve the tools and systems that power Uber's marketing automation at scale-including exciting new AI-powered capabilities that are redefining how we engage customers globally.
This is a high-impact, hands-on technical role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, tooling, and marketing execution.
What You'll Do
- Participate in campaign briefs and kickoff sessions to define technical requirements and CRM architecture.
- Translate business needs into scalable solutions for one-time and automated lifecycle communications.
- Build personalized, dynamic content using scripting languages including AMPscript, HTML, and Uber's proprietary logic.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to manage audience targeting and retrieve data from internal systems and data warehouses.
- Conduct thorough QA and peer reviews to uphold quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- Track campaign timelines, blockers, approvals, and performance metrics-proactively keeping stakeholders informed.
- Build strong relationships across CRM, Product, Engineering, and cross-functional marketing teams.
- Contribute to ongoing tooling improvements, reusable modules, and process automation within the CRM ecosystem.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline-or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years in a technical marketing, CRM operations, or martech platform engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC / ExactTarget) and/or Braze, Iterable, Adobe Campaign, Marketo, or similar.
- Proficiency in SQL for audience segmentation and data analysis.
- Familiarity with scripting for personalization (e.g., AMPscript, Liquid, or similar).
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for building and editing templates.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to distill technical topics for diverse audiences.
- High attention to detail, QA mindset, and accountability for accuracy in execution.
- Comfortable ramping up on proprietary tools and navigating complex internal systems.
- Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to fast-paced project work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with in-house CRM or martech platforms, especially in a highly scaled or global context.
- Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools, recommendation engines, or dynamic content optimization frameworks.
- Experience supporting cross-channel campaigns (email, push, in-app, SMS).
- A track record of process improvements, automation, or documentation that improved team efficiency or data integrity.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$135,000 per year - USD$150,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$135,000 per year - USD$150,000 per year.
