Job Description

Uber Freight is a marketplace built to connect shippers with trucks, much like the way the Uber app connects riders and drivers.

On the Uber Freight team, we believe that our dedication to transportation technologies will bring more collaborative, highly efficient, and increasingly safer transportation logistics to our roads. We are currently looking for candidates to join our growing team who share our enthusiasm for tackling today's toughest challenges in transportation. Our GM of Account Operations owns the ongoing growth and success of our mid market accounts. They will manage, grow, and develop a large team of account managers responsible for delivering world class service to mid market customers and contributing directly to the top line growth of Uber Freight.

The ideal candidate is both highly operational and highly entrepreneurial, passionate about customer success, motivated by building and shaping the future, a proven operator, can dig deep into the data to solve operational issues, is always driving small improvements in process, hustles, inspires, and loves making something from nothing.

  • Lead a large team of account managers
  • Work directly with our sales team and directly with customers to continually seek new solutions for their logistics challenges
  • Drive forward the future vision of Uber Freight with our product team and help sell that vision to our customers
  • Own all core account metrics for mid market accounts

  • Develop process and system improvements to continually raise the bar of execution

  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Undergraduate degree, Masters preferred
  • The ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
