About the Role

Uber is looking to add a Facility Coordinator to our growing International team!

Uber is rapidly expanding its global operations. We pride ourselves on our amazing team, the driving force behind our growth and our awesome brand. 
You will report to Regional Facilities Operations Manager and will help ensure that everything in the office is running smoothly. Organization is key in this ever-evolving environment and you’ll need a minimum of 2 years of experience in facility management in a corporate environment, international preferably, as well as solid quantitative skills and an eye for improvement. Someone who doesn’t just plug and chug will be most successful in this role. Ideal candidates always ask the question “How can we organize this better?”

What you’ll do:

  • Working with the Global Places team, manage the daily facility operations of your office
  • Manage the office food program & related budget
  • Manage relationship with Landlord
  • Create structure and implement processes
  • Contract management
  • Managerial reporting on Operational Expenses, headcount and other performance metrics
  • Make magic
  • Familiarize people with the Places department
  • Environment, Health & Safety program management
  • Oversee all vendors performing services in the office including maintenance and janitorial
  • Space management (seating, planning, moves, etc.)
  • Manage the shipping and receiving of all packages
  • Helping new hires getting set up in the office
  • Manage the key and badge access process for the office
  • Manage all small moves and minor construction projects
  • Coordinate all on-site events
  • Manage reception desk & physical security
  • Responsible for maximum headcount of 100 (+3 sites in region)

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in facility management in a dynamic environment, in offices of 30 people or more
  • People’s skills: be able to manage people’s problems/demands in a highly competitive and international environment
  • A-game in husslin’
  • Experience in negotiating contracts for services
  • Experience in a high demanding environment
  • Uberpumpedness
  • Fluency in English
  • Go-getter who isn’t afraid of going the extra mile
  • Ability to manage vendors & oversee budgets
  • Basic understanding of property management
  • Problem solver with good organizational skills
  • A multi task manager
