Chief of Staff - Uber Eats Latam
About the Role
As the Chief of Staff to the Regional General Manager (RGM) for LatAm Delivery, you will take on a wide range of high-impact responsibilities with visibility across nearly every part of the business. You'll help drive key priorities for the RGM while partnering closely with LatAm Delivery leaders and cross-functional teams-including DCO, Finance, HR, Marketing, Product, Business Development, and Policy.
Your work will focus on three core pillars:
1. Executive Leverage & Decision Support
Increase the RGM's effectiveness through clear prioritization, strategic framing, and readiness for critical decisions. You'll synthesize complex information, highlight risks and blind spots, and ensure the RGM has what they need to make informed, high-quality choices.
2. Leadership Partnership & Accountability
Define and run the operating cadence of the business, ensuring teams stay aligned and accountable. You'll clarify priorities, track commitments, escalate risks early, and help leaders maintain consistent discipline and follow-through.
3. Strategic Initiatives & Vision Building
Lead cross-functional strategic projects and help shape the long-term vision for LatAm Delivery. You'll translate big-picture strategy into actionable, measurable plans that guide the organization's next stage of growth.
What You'll Do
Executive Partnership & Strategic Advising
- Act as a trusted partner to the RGM-anticipating needs, framing decisions, surfacing risks, and identifying blind spots.
- Prepare the RGM for key internal and external engagements, and create high-impact communications for forums such as Leadership meetings, All-Hands, Executive Committee, and the Board.
- Represent the RGM in selected meetings, driving alignment on priorities, expectations, and next steps.
Leadership Operations & Accountability
- Own the operating rhythm for LatAm Delivery, including leadership meetings, offsites, strategic planning cycles, and quarterly business reviews.
- Ensure strategic priorities are clearly defined, communicated, and adopted across teams.
- Establish accountability mechanisms: track commitments, maintain visibility on progress, and escalate when follow-through stalls.
- Streamline cross-functional decision-making by ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged at the right time.
Strategic Initiatives & Cross-Functional Execution
- Lead or co-lead complex strategic initiatives in partnership with DCO, Finance, HR, Marketing, Product, BD, and Policy.
- Pressure-test strategies, business cases, and investment proposals to ensure sound logic and rigorous execution.
- Identify operational gaps, emerging risks, and opportunities for step-change improvement.
- Translate strategy into KPIs, dashboards, and frameworks for measuring impact and success.
