Uber is looking to add a Brazil Tax Manager to our rapidly growing team! This role will report to our LATAM Tax Lead in Mexico City and support our Brazil operations, based in Brazil. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop, implement and manage Uber’s income tax, transfer pricing and VAT strategies in Brazil
  • Oversee Brazil compliance and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams regarding tax, treasury, finance and other matters
  • Manage controversy and correspondence with tax authorities
  • Support business initiatives and implementations

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Big 4 experience strongly preferred with in-house background, ideally in Fortune 500, US based corporation
  • Extensive experience with all Brazil tax matters
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
  • CPA and/or Master’s in Taxation preferred
  • Experience in a high-growth, international environment preferred
  • Great communication skills, well organized with a proven leadership ability
