Technical Business Developer

We are rapidly expanding our currently sizable infrastructure and are looking for someone who can help facilitate the growth of the Twitch Network. You will be directly involved in the strategy, planning and negotiating of the Twitch global network and will interact closely with outside vendors to design, develop, and deliver assets for network connectivity, colocation space & power across the world. This position is well situated for someone looking to work with multinational companies on a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Identify locations to support current and future growth of the Twitch data center footprint
  • Building and maintaining strategic long-term relationships with datacenter operators for effective, efficient and scalable delivery of Twitch content to users
  • Identify, negotiating and closing contracts covering colocation, fiber and transport services
  • Communicating progress internally and collaborate with a wide variety of internal teams including product and business development, legal, datacenter operations and deployment
  • Supporting team in deployments to minimize unit price
  • Track, report and measure
  • Work on capacity planning and evolution of data center strategy
  • Work on new process/legal documents with internal teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Internet infrastructure work including technical and commercial knowledge of internet providers, telecommunications providers, internet exchange points, datacenter providers
  • Experience interpreting contracts and other legal documents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Relationship management experience
  • Understanding of  Infrastructure  market pricing, capacity availability and colocation providers
  • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of the time
