Strategic Partner Manager - Program Operations

The Strategic Partner Manager - Program Operations is the conduit for all top strategic and signed partner needs to the internal teams at Twitch. You will nurture relationships with these top partners as it relates to our strategic programs with top game developers.

This role’s primary responsibility will be to drive cross-functional deliverables and programs across multiple business unit for all post-deal strategic partners. This position is heavily focused on tracking and maintaining key KPIs to progress our partnerships. You will also help internal teams achieve their product penetration goals related to our business deals.

The Strategic Partner Management (SPM) is a part of the Business Development team and works cross-functionally with the Twitch Marketing, Sales, Business Operations, Esports, Content Partnerships and Developer Success teams. This role focuses half of it's time with Twitch departments and the other half on working with external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Fully understand Twitch’s primary objectives alongside the partner objectives, and socialize and formulate strategies to help maximize goals and KPIs for both parties
  • Establish communication and expectation setting between multiple Twitch business units
  • Build a regular reporting cadence and track projects against established goals and KPIs
  • Develop processes and operations for top strategic partnerships
  • Work with an internal CRM to manage milestones and track partnership status

Requirements

  • At least 5-7 years of account management, business development, developer relations and/or other relevant client management experience
  • Has experience tracking projects against established goals and KPIs
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making
  • Deep knowledge of game developers and the  games industry
  • A base understanding of what APIs, SDKs and technical products can do
  • Strong knowledge of Twitch platform as a viewer and broadcaster
  • Excellent verbal, written, and relationship management skills
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Exceptional ability to project manage and/or prior CRM experience

Bonus Points

  • Existing professional relationships with game publishers/developers and/or ecosystem developers
  • Has operations, program management and/or related experience
  • Previous employment at a game publisher/developer or ecosystem developer
  • Experience with public speaking and comfort interacting with C-level executives
  • Excellent presentation skills and proficiency with CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote or similar programs
  • A strong educational background
