Senior Software Engineer - Internationalization

Millions of visitors per month watch billions of minutes of video on Twitch around the world in many locales and languages on the web, mobile, and gaming consoles. Our team builds the foundations that ensure overall product quality and functionality for all software development at Twitch, including bringing all our products to world readiness. Agile and effective collaboration with other teams is at the heart of our charter, our challenge, and our passion.

You are passionate about software development and delivering a great product to all users around the world. You keep up-to-date with your craft but often dabble beyond; you are intellectually curious, inventive, and eager to grow. You understand how code is written up and down the stack and how to build, integrate, test, and deploy global-ready solutions with the latest tools and best practices. You are equally excited to build a minimum viable product quickly as you are cementing a proven feature in maintainable and tested code. You focus on quality, sweat the details, and delight our users. You excel at communication – oral and written. You know how to collaborate and negotiate. You thrive in loosely structured environments, and you get that we only win together. Brilliant jerks and lone wolves won't cut it here.
