Senior Partnerships Manager, DACH

The Senior Partnerships Manager, DACH will be responsible for developing and driving regional content initiatives alongside leading a team comprised of acquisition, account management and associate personnel. In addition, this position will negotiate and close complex broadcast licensing agreements with key industry stakeholders in the DACH media and influencer space. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and leadership skills, management and business development experience, a customer service mentality, a passion for gaming and the ability to execute under evolving timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage and execute local strategic initiatives and other partnership projects
  • Supervise, develop and lead team of partnerships personnel
  • Track, manage and report key performance metrics, objectives and goals
  • Provide regular and timely reports to senior management
  • Influence, contribute and execute against regional strategic goals
  • Business development, from outreach to complex contract negotiation and execution
  • Identify, develop and recruit content creators to use the platform
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing partnered content creators where applicable
  • Collaborate with Marketing, PR, Sales and multiple internal departments to achieve regional goals

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years people management experience
  • At least 2+ years business development experience 
  • Must be organized, strategic, creative and be able to clearly communicate how plans will deliver against organizational goals
  • Self-starter mentality - must be able to effectively work independently and autonomously
  • Goal oriented: focused on setting and exceeding personal, team, and organizational goals
  • Interpersonal skills: effectively communicating, building rapport, and relating to others at all levels
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills in both English and German
  • Capable of managing and completing multiple projects and priorities at the same time within a rapidly changing environment
  • Understanding of common online video and online advertising metrics
  • Developed understanding of the traditional and digital media sector
  • Ability to travel to gaming conventions (E.g. Gamescom), more than 30 days of traveling a year
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google docs and sheets

Bonus Points

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or International Studies
  • Familiarity with Twitch as a user and broadcaster
  • Broadcast licensing, commissioning and/ or distribution experience in digital or traditional sectors
  • Strong existing relationships with gaming community content creators
  • Strong existing relationships with media companies across DACH
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Advanced Office and Excel skills
  • Experience with live video content creation
  • Previous employment at a games industry, broadcast media company or specialised influencer and talent agency
