Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager

As our Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager with Twitch, you’ll be responsible for defining strategies for new user acquisition, turning users who have low engagement to highly engaged ones.  You’ll be responsible for strengthening our relationship with users throughout their lifecycle. You know who Twitch’s users are, where to find them, and how to get them onto Twitch.  You are analytical and can independently manage multiple advertising campaigns.

You’ll work closely with analytics to drive acquisition and lifecycle campaigns by using a full range of marketing channels and tactics which include testing, optimizing, measuring and reporting campaigns regularly. You’ll work collaboratively with other cross-functional teams to help provide a seamless conversion experience across the funnel.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategy for Twitch’s new user acquisition initiatives and reactivation campaigns
  • Define the strategy for Twitch’s lifecycle marketing campaigns based on behavioral triggers and user attributes
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, proactively analyzing and optimizing marketing investment to drive growth and engagement
  • Collaborate with the Growth team to understand entire user lifecycle funnel and optimize strategies accordingly
  • Test marketing channels. Own this process by planning, tracking, implementing technical integration, trafficking, analyzing, and optimizing campaigns
  • Work with the Creative Services team to get creative assets developed
  • Develop A/B and multivariate testing programs to continually improve messaging, landing pages, and bidding strategies
  • Work with the Product Marketing team to build acquisition and re-engagement campaigns around new feature announcements
  • Identify new partner, platform, and optimization opportunities to drive campaign performance
  • Analyze performance, develop, and drive appropriate action plans based on conclusions
  • Drive continued innovation and implement best practices, regularly sharing knowledge with the marketing team
  • Partner with analytics to understand valuable customer profiles and where to find them
  • Develop and maintain budget forecasts and report on results

Requirements

  • You have 8-10+ years marketing experience in areas including direct marketing, lifecycle marketing and acquisition marketing
  • You have experience with acquisition channels, primarily SEO and other unpaid channels.  You also have some experience with paid acquisition (digital and mobile media buying) which includes paid digital, SEM, and social media advertising
  • You have strong analytical skills and experience working with analytics platforms within metrics based companies
  • You have strong cross-functional, project management, and leadership skills, with ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • You have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple, competing interests with tact and diplomacy
