Product Manager - Developer Experience

Twitch developer products power the connections between millions of broadcasters and users. You will be responsible for driving the product requirements and execution with a team of engineers to create a world-class platform development experience from startup through live operation. You insist on the highest standards for quality, maintainability, and performance and understand the tools necessary to deliver. You will own the goals and roadmap of your team and collaborate across multiple internal teams to succeed. You will have a critical stake in the strategic direction of the Twitch developer platform and the future of third party development on Twitch.

Responsibilities

  • Translate developer requirements into product specifications, collaborating with UX and Engineering
  • Develop, iterate upon, get buy-in for, and reinforce product roadmap based on customer needs
  • Make predictions about your anticipated outcomes; measure results
  • Collect and synthesize product feedback from internal and external stakeholders
  • Ship products that drive both Twitch and developer goals, and iterate based on learnings
  • Embody Twitch company values

Requirements

  • At least two years’ prior success as Product or Program Manager on a web application or platform with significant reliance on both owned and integrated APIs
  • You care a lot about creating products that delight users, diving into details, finding creative solutions and taking responsibility for outcomes
  • Clarity of thought and expression in specifying product features, verbally and in writing, such that engineers can work independently to build them
  • Deep (but not engineer-level) understanding of RESTful APIs, AWS Services, Video Distribution Technologies and third-party SDKs
  • Demonstrated ability to convince internal teams to build to your customers’ requirements
  • A proven track record of creating and delivering high-quality technology products
  • Skilled at working across geographically distributed locations
